provided me with something that i didn't think the show ever would. they provided me with an education. they've given me some perspective that quite highway honestly i didn't have in 2001 when i started this program. "dirty jobs" is a tribute to my granddad. he is a guy a lot of you know. you have never met him or heard of him, but he only made it to the eighth grade, but by the time he was 30, he was a licensed electrician, a plumber. he was a master of every trade i knew from welding to carpentry. he could build a house without a blueprint.
